My 17th Birthday!

Can I just say... I have the most AMAZING and WONDERFUL Family and Friends in the ENTIRE world?! I really do! I’m so blessed and SO grateful that I have these friends and family members! I’m so thankful for their wonderful examples to me and for the love they show for me! I thought my birthday was going to be kind of lame because I had school until 2:30 and then I had to go to band at 5 until 9 at night. So it just kind of felt like a typical school day. My friends told the Drum Majors it was my birthday so they made me stand up and the whole band sang to me. While it was rather embarrassing, I did love it :)I got home from band and all the lights were out and at first I thought: "Wow, they all went to bed, this is great." And then I saw the birthday cakes all lit up on the counter and I heard someone giggle and I got really excited as they surprised me! I was SO happy! After a long hard day of Marching and school, I was really happy to come home to my family!
The day after my birthday my friend Marissa took me out to Orange Leaf and to the park at the library, me not suspecting something to happen there, ended up getting cake thrown at my face! Which was on my bucket list! I’m so thankful that I have the greatest parents in the world! My mom saw that I had “get in a cake fight” on my bucket list and decided to make it come true! I was so excited!!! :) I was so happy to see all of my bestest friends in the whole entire world... even if they were smashing cake into my hair. :)
I have the BEST family and friends and I am SO thankful for them! I’m so happy they all got to spend time with my for my birthday!! I love you guys! :)

Draper Temple

This past week I had the opportunity to do baptisms with my bestest buds at the Draper Temple! We decided that we all wanted to visit different temples this summer rather than just going to Mt. Timp over and over again. So... we started with Draper!
Kayla, Caitlin, Callie, EmmaLee, and I
I am so thankful for all of my amazing friends and for their examples to me! I’m so blessed to have friends that want to go to the temple and that we can have such a great time doing it. :)

Bucket List, Last day of school (yearbook day), dates, & St. George

WARNING: This blog post may be a liiiittle lengthy. :)

Bucket List:
{Book #1}
Pride & Popularity by Jenni James
I just finished this book yesterday at our families BBQ over at my aunts house. It was such a cute book! I couldn’t put it down after I got into the first few chapters. It’s definitely a Pride & Prejudice type of book, but it has it’s own little twists and turns in it that aren’t in Pride & Prejudice. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a cute book to snuggle up with and read. :)

My “before I graduate” Bucket List

It’s a little hard to imagine that I’ll be graduating in only a year, and I’ll being going to college a few months after that. Crazy stuff I tell you!

So I’ve compiled a bucket list of things I’d like to do and accomplish BEFORE I graduate, some are wacky and some are more special:

1. Go to all the temples in Utah County
2. Have a cake fight
3. Visit all the little stores on State Street
4. Read 75 Books
5. Buy a pet Gold Fish
6. Grow a garden {Including... one vegetable, one fruit, and one flower}
7. Make a sundress
8. Finish Personal Progress
9. Donate to a charity {not quite sure yet}
10. Design a T-Shirt and wear it
11. Learn how to french braid and fish tale hair {preferably before Girls Camp}
12. Draw a good picture {One that I’ll take time on}
14. Cover the door in my room with quotes
13. Paint each of my nails a different color
15. Finish the Book of Mormon {For my honor bee}
16.
17.

I’ll be 17 when I graduate... that’s why I have 17 spaces. So if you have any ideas or suggestions as to what I can add to my bucket list it’d make my whole day! :)

{This won’t go into affect until June 1-gives me time to take a break from school!}

Thank you :)
