Well, seems like it's been forever since I last posted. My last posting was P Night and that was WAAAY back when it was still cold and snowy and just barely reaching SpRiNg! Now it's getting cold again:)! I LOVE fall! It's my ultimatly favorite season. I love all the colors and the sweaters and the smell! Mmmmm.... I just LoVE fall! When I see the word fall I think of trees, apples, pumpkins, halloween, candy, pie! Agh! I'm just so excited for fall to officially be here!

I am having a BLAST in Marching Band! I'm Flute 6 this year and I'm enjoying being in the American Fork Marching Band. What an honor it is to put on that awesome uniform and perform our wonderful shows. This year has been great and our competition season finally and officially starts on Tuesday which is our Weber Review, the first show we perform in front of judges! Then the excitment begins:). Our show is PaNdEmOnIuM! It's a pretty cool show and the music is basically awesome............ Family Night is Monday at 7:00 at AF High School. It's going to be exciting

School started... about a month ago. HIGH SCHOOL! Agh! I'm so happy to be in the high school. It's so much fun and I'm having a blast. I like school A LOT more now that I'm in high school. The days seem to go by so much faster. But I don't know why:) haha.

I'm taking Sign Language at school. It's pretty hard learning a completely new language. But I guess this is what it was like to learn English........

We went on a hike today. It was SO much fun. The hike has a lot of rocks so you get to climb up the rocks and our hike ended with a beautiful lake at the top. Then, we walked back down and sat on a rock and ate our sandwhiches, then headed home for some ice cream! Although-I didn't eat the ice cream...... I wanted to though, beleive me! :) haha

Bye:) I'll try to post more often,

P Night! :)

Tonight for young womans we had a "P night"! We each wore our Pajamas or Pink or Purple. I guess Pants could count-but they were the Party Poopers! :) Only kidding! :D And then we each had to bring our favorite treat that began with a P. We got such cute and creative things as our treats:

Popsicles
Pretsles
Pringles
Popcorn (lot's and LOT's of popcorn)
Peanut butter pie (Mmmmm!)
Peanut butter cookies
Peanut M&M's
Pumkpin chocolate chip bread and cookies
Pink lemonade
Potatoe chips

We are creative young women yes we are :) tehe.

Then we each brought our Personal Progress books. See-it was a P night. Personal Progress P Night!!! We played the ULTIMATE YOUNG WOMEN JEOPARDY GAME! It was FUN FUN FUN! But-we all were talking-so... it didn't really work out too well ;). But that's ok! :) It was still fun!! What a night!

My Junior High is putting on the Musical Hello Dolly. I'm the reporter clerk-nothing special... but I'm sure you'd enjoy the play. We'll be performing in about three weeks? I think... haha :). I'll tell you the exact dates when I hear about them! :)

FINALLY-Marching band is starting! Sections are already planning sectionals... all the drum majors have been chosen and section leaders. My first sectional was supposed to be this Friday when we found out the Junior High Wind Ensemble (my band!!) is going to the State Festival and will be gone from 12:50-7:15. So sectionals at 3:30 were impossible without the Wind Ensemble fluties :). So they had to switch the date--no idea when we actually have our first actual sectional but I'm pretty dang excited. The clarinets were practicing the Parade Tune and it got me all excited for marching band to start. I'm not too excited about Parade season... but I sure am ready to see all my marching buddies and start the shows and such!!! It'll be a BLAST!!!

Where are you spring?

I know that on the calendar it says that it's already spring... but look outside! It's still stinking winter! This is just CRAZY! Where's the sun? Where's the warmth? I want to wear my shorts and flip flops and go swimming and play outside. *sigh* Plus-it's SPRING break... I don't see spring outside my window!

My Sisters :)

These are my sisters :). I love them to peices... but, they do get ANNOYING! But I try to have as much fun as I can with em'. This morning I wrote letters to them while my parents were gone at the gym and it had there list of jobs on it. (My mom said she was posting on her blog so you can look at it there if she ever really posts it) As I passed out the papers I received lot's of moaning and groaning. I simply told them to read the lists and that they weren't that bad. So-they did as I said, nodded with somewhat of a smile, and left my moms room to start their list of jobs. I love doing stuff with my sisters! It's so much fun to think of creative things. The pictures of us we took on a Sunday afternoon just before fall came. We all got dressed up, did our hair and put on our best smiles and took pictures.

A Little About Me!

Hi! My name is Cambri and I am the oldest of 5 kids. I'm 14 years old and in Mia Maids serving as the Mia Maids Secratary! I'm in 9th grade at American Fork Junior High School and I am a CAVEMAN!!! Next year I will be going to the American Fork High School where I still will continue being a CAVEMAN!!!

My favorite class in school is band! I play the flute and currently 2nd chair. We just had our try-outs today for which High School band we will be in. I tried out for Wind Symphony but I think I'll be placed in Symphonic which is second highest. Which is still simply AMAZING!

I am in the American Fork Marching band and I LOVE it! Last year was my first year and I just turned in my forms for my second year! This year we're hoping to go to California! We also get the chance to go to St. George, Pocotello, and Las Vegas!!! SO exciting!!!

I LOVE reading. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I can't stand some books though-historical books-science books. I like mystery, suspense, and romance. They're the best... they are #1 in my personal opinion. Some of my favorite books are The Secret Journal of Brett Colton, Don't Close Your Eyes, Divinly Designed, Ripple Effect, and Undercurrents. I like lot's of other books but those were the first to come to my mind! :)

I'm taking a Fashion Strategies class at my school and I LOVE it!!! We learn the elements of fashion and the optical illusions that different colors, textures, and shapes create. We also get to draw our designs and I think it's pretty fun!

I LOVE watching movies as well. Just give me some popcorn and a drink of water and do not disturb. I love almost any kind of movie. A Walk to Remember, The Christmas Shoes, Charley, Harry Potter, Iron Man, Anxiously Engaged, Cool Runnings, and Remember the Titans.

I also like to spend time with my mom! I love going shopping with her, running into the grocery store with her, helping her cook, helping her clean, and going on walks with her (even if she is 30 feet ahead of me!!)

I also LOVE young womens. I think it's so much fun and I look forward to our Presidency Meetings so I can plan our fun Wednesday activities! :) Whether it's combined or class activites-I always look forward to Young Womens! :)

I also love to do crafts. Crafts are so much fun! Sewing, card making, scrapbooking-you name it! It's all fun to do. Some of my creations may not turn out very pretty but it sure is fun to get paper, glue, stickers, and pictures create something CUTE :)!

Well-that's me. CAMBRI HILL! :)
