Band Camp, My Birthday, And School!

Band Camp.... *sigh*! Hardest week of my life! ... even though it’s not technically a week. :)
Which is totally fine with me! I’m not complaining! :) haha

I’m so happy It’s over! I was so sore and tired and my feet were in so much pain I just couldn’t wait to get home! But I watched my show and it is going to be AMAZING! I’m so excited! We do such cool shapes and forms and our music is really fun! Our show this year is called:

SHADES OF CONFLICT!

Cool name huh? :) haha I LOVE it!

If you want to see our show:

It’s a pretty cool show! The camera man is awful but you can still tell It’s cool! :)

MY BIRTHDAY! My 16th Birthday is just 2 days away and I don’t think I can wait! Well... I am “celebrating” it tomorrow! But It’s still really 2 days away... which is....

the FIRST DAY of my Junior year in HIGH SCHOOL! Ah :) What a great week this is....

Coming home from band camp, my birthday, and the first day of school!

Mormon Messages: My new favorite thing!

I LOVE Mormon Messages! Even though they're only about 5 minutes, they share powerful words and meaningful messages. I encourage you to click on the link below and watch this Mormon Message. This one is a great one by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf . He's an AMAZING person and his message to us is very strong. I hope you take the time to watch this short 4 minute video of self worth.

It's so nice to know that we can be great swans! I'm happy for that knowledge! The knowledge that God loves me so much! And that He knows I am a beautiful swan and that you are too. :)

“Comparing yourself to others can … result in either feelings of inferiority or superiority. … Accept yourself as the unique person that you are without comparing yourself to others. Doing this will help you love yourself properly without conceit” (Clark Swain, “Q & A,” New Era, Mar. 1979, p. 38) and I would also add that it will help you love yourself without being "down on yourself".

I love you my family!

I love you my family! I'm going to miss you this week at camp! I'll be thinking of each and every one of you this week! Thanks for all your help with my devotionals mom! And thanks mom and dad for letting us go this week! I'm really happy I get to go a second time to Girls Camp this summer. I'm excited to go have fun and get to know some new girls and make some more friends! Don't worry-I'll take good care of Sydnee! :) haha

I love you all so much and I can't wait to come back and tell you all that I've learned and done!
And I especially can't wait to see you all again and give you a big hug! I'll miss you all!

With love,

cam ;)
