BrAcEs!

Today we (dad, syd, me) to the Orthodonix(?). We walked in and sydnee and dad were told they would be getting braces today. I however, was told that I would just be getting an impression.
So in I walked... thinking I would be going home WITHOUT braces or anything new in my mouth.
I was wrong....
I finished taking the pictures and then we sat down and he said: "We'll take a look, we may or may not need to do an impression."
And no... we did braces and spacers.
And now I am in pain...
And really not enjoying this metalic things attatched to my used-to-be beautiful teeth! :)

"Today is early out day"

Mondays at the high school are "early out days"... meaning, we get out an hour early! :) yaya!

But today isn't Monday... it's Thursday! I was sitting in my history class getting ready for the bell to ring so I could go to lunch when the girl sitting two rows in front of me said "oh yeah, today is early out day!" I was confused for a second, and thought: "Wait a sec... it's Thursday!" I looked up and said "Gentry, it's not Monday!"

That was the highlight of my day. Someone thinking that four days into the school week in a Monday! Crazy girl! :)

I have a very good and happy announcement to make :)

I finally understand my history class! Oh my goodness! I could tell you everything we talked about today except for the fact that it would bore you:). But I'm just so excited I FINALLY understand all the lectures and what my notes mean:). The Student Teacher has been teaching us this new semester and I learn SOOO much more from her! It's so nice to finally understand what's going on in that class!!

Haha:) Another funny moment today... :) My sweet sister Sydnee was walking home and she had just walked through the gate and I was watching her walk inside and she didn't see me! At all, and I was RIGHT THERE! :) It was so funny... she walked into the bathroom and started singing or talking to herself, I couldn't really hear. But she walked out of the bathroom and still DID NOT SEE ME! I thought to myself, you have got to be kidding me! I finally laughed at her and she looked at me and her eyes were so wide. And I said "How did you not see me when you walked in?" And she asked "Where were you?" And I said "I was sitting right here!" And her jaw dropped half way and then she screamed: "I MADE MUSICAL THEATER AND ADVANCED DRAMA!!"

One thing that bothers me very much is that when I hit the pillow and my eyes close... time goes by so fast. And then when I wake up and I just want five more minutes to sleep... but those five minutes go by way too fast! And then when I get to school... time goes by way......to.......slow!! And then when the bell rings and I walk to the white church for my ride home, and I get home and just... sit... time goes by... way too fast! And the week days.... go by way too slow. And the weekends... go by way too fast. Why can't time just be... normal? Be... fast when it's slow, and slow when it's fast? Does this make any sense? It does to me:) but I'm not very sure if it does when you read it :) haha.

In seminary today, a not-so-active boy stood up to give us our scripture thought. It was really neat what he talked about. He said that if you're kind to someone for even just a day, your day will be better. You will notice a change in your life and you will be happier yourself. And I just thought it was so cool what he was saying and how he knew that everything he was saying was true. Even though he didn't look like a "good kid" or didn't dress like one... he really knew what he was saying. And I personally think that was awesome :)

ALMOST FRIDAY! and friday is... the weekend! Which is one of the best words ever invented. It's like my math teacher said: "Text and book are both very good words. But when those mean people put them together to create a swear word: textbook, it becomes a very bad word. Two other good words: home and work. But when the mean people put them together and created the word homework, it because a very bad swear word!" And now... we cannot say textbook and homework in his class! :)

In this case.... week and end are not very... "good" words. When I think of week I think of school, like the week days. And when I think of end, I think of the end of a very good book or the end of a roller coaster ride. But when you put those two words together, you get a very good word! :)

My LiFe!

So~here's my life basically in one simple post:

I have decdided to become a healthier person! :) haha, let's see how long this lasts. NO! I am GoInG to do it! Anyone willing to do it with me is invited! Haha :)

School, high school.... (sigh) :( I am just ready for school to be over. I know we only have half a year left of school... but........ I barely survived first semester, I honestly don't know how I will be able to stay alive for another half year. English is too stressful and his expectations are WAAAAAY to high. History is just.... crazy and I don't know why I did it again this semester. Math is getting boring and more and more hard as we continue on through the units. I will be starting my health class and that will just be... dandy. Human biology is starting to have more and more homework assignments. Band Solo and Ensemble night is coming up and I've lost a copy of my music and I don't have someone to accompany me yet.

Ya... you could say school is just....... nOt FuN!

The only good things happening on in school....
1. I got a new seminary teacher
2. NO MORE FITNESS! EVER! in my life.... :)

Home is the best place on earth! When I leave home I feel like I'm leaving Disney Land or 7 Peaks or even my Grandma's house! It's just way too... nice, cozy, fun, awesome, and welcoming! So when the bell rings for lunch, I just can't wait to go home and sit, just sit. Maybe get on the computer... check my grades. Or maybe take a nap-that's always nice. Or talk to my mom. Or... just anything other than being at that horrible place they call: school!

Permit test this week? Ummm.... we'll see! I took a permit pre-test/practice test online at my friends house and... hehe.... I got 10 out of 20. I don't know about you, but that is really, really bad :). But I haven't studied so... I guess that score was ok. :) haha. But I started reading the first page of the manual today... and it's... so far... boring :) haha. Like lot's-o-things.

Developmental Center tomorrow, and flute choir. Flute choir 4-5, Developmental center @ 5.45. Holy cow! So much stuff and so little time. What am I going to do?????

I spend SOOO much time with my beautiful, awesome, wonderful, and amazing flute in the week. It's just cRaZy! I can't beleive all the things I have. Sectionals every monday right after school for 30-45 minutes. Private lessons every monday from 4:30-5:00. Flute choir every wednesday from 4:00-5:00. Pep band almost every friday at 6:15ish-whenever the game ends. And to top all that off... band concerts, band class, and solo and ensemble night... and then soon....

Mini Photo Shoot

I was in a picture taking mood yesterday. My mom and dad were leaving on their date so I decided to dress up my three beautiful sisters and take some pictures.
