What Not To Wear: Modest Fashion Show

Tonight for mutual we did: What Not To Wear and we did a modest Fashion Show! It was SO much fun! :) I had a BLAST tonight laughing... and at the same time learning :)! There were 5 girls that had some immodest shirts or skirts and they showed how they made it modest as they walked down the runway :).

After that was said and done, we had a FABULOUS little skit by three of our leaders... which was... HILARIOUS! I LOVED it so.stinkin.much. One of our leaders played the girl on What Not To Wear and two of our leaders wore really bad outfits that they “wore to church”, so our leader fixed them up and taught us how to sit correctly like a lady at church! :)

Then we got to dress up another one of our old leaders and learn how to turn something simple into something stylish! :)

Then for our dessert they gave us Ding Dongs and they said that the Ding Dong is white and pure in the middle, and covered with chocolate on the outside to make it modest :). Cute huh? :) Yes, I think so! :)

I’ve made these things over the past month or days... and I’ve just wanted to show them :) haha, sorry everything is all flip-flopped around... the letters are backwards... :) haha

I made this pillow at my Grandma’s house over spring break. I made one for my sister Hollie, but it was my first one... so it doesn’t look so great :). I think I’m going to make a few of these and give these to my marvelous 4th year girls at Girls Camp for devotional. But I’m still debating... and I don’t know what to put with them... any ideas? :)

I made this one day when I was bored! :) haha, this is a phone book and ALL the pages including the cover are folded over. This took me about... an hour? Maybe longer, maybe shorter... I’m not sure :). But It’s good for holding my papers as you can see :)

I love making cards, and yesterday... I was in the card making mood. So I made this one for Sydnee when she asked me to make her one. She didn’t like it so I kept it and decided to use it for myself! :) My mom said the S should stand for “shelly” and I should give it to her :).

When I take my shorts off later today I’ll be sure to attach a note to them that says: WEAR A BELT THIS TIME!!!

Ever time I took a step... my pants fell down an inch, and constantly today I was pulling them up... probably looking like a freak to some people! :)

haha, I do LOVE the shorts, they are WAY cute... but next time... I should probably wear a belt.......

One more month of school tomorrow!!! AHHHH! :) YaYa! No more stressin’ out over huge english essays and history tests! It will all be done with for at least a few months! :)

And because school is almost over....

GIRLS CAMP IS COMING UP!!! :) :) :) :) YAY! I’m so excited to be a YCL over my 4th years! It will be AWESOME! ;) YES YES INDEED!
