GIRLS CAMP! American Fork North 13th ward

This week we went to Girls Camp in Morgan Utah on my Camp Directors families land. It was so beautiful and warm and sunny! It was one of those weeks where when you’re in the sun you’re warm, but in the shade it’s chilly. Ah! It was perfect!

We were in tents this year... which is always an adventure. And we started out the week with Sister Cullimore showing us her cleaning stick with ribbon on it... telling us that we were all slobs and that this week she would be judging each tent... and the cleanest tent... would receive a prize! Which.... I wanted! :) So my tent tried... and just so you know... we didn’t succeed! :) haha And we even tried bribing her! Giving her chocolate and telling her how much we loved her! But still, sadly we did not get the cleaning stick! :) haha oh well! We tried... right?

We also did a Treasure Hunt my marvelous mom put together. We each got a bottle of sand and went to each of the stations. At each station we would earn a bead which we could put into our bottles (Our theme was Treasure Seekers [pirates] hence the message in a bottle). It was fun!! :)

We decorated cute treasure boxes with paper and decoupage which all turned out so cute! During the week we would get cute things we could put into our treasure boxes.

And my FAVORITE part of Girls Camp :) :) :) was shooting!!!! Bishop Garn came up with his guns and we got to shoot! I’d tell you what I shot... but I don’t know what they’re called! :) I shot the big guns though... the ones that leave bruises and kick back really hard! Yes, I shot that! And I did awesome! :) I had so much fun shooting the guns! What a wonderful surprise it was! :)

Girls Camp was so much fun and I’m sad the week is over. There were so many wonderful memories created and so many spiritual moments... too much to write down... so I just wrote down the main events we did.
