Arizona Trip :)

At Aunt Marshas house in the kitchen... I'm there... you can see my elbow :)
ATTRACTIVE!!!!!

At the table...

We went to Aunt Anna's and Uncle Seth's place in Arizona and in their backyard they had a tramp, basketball court, swimming pool w/fountains :), a play set/play ground thingy and a teather ball.

We went hikin' while the cousins were at school.

Have you ever felt cactus in your leg?

Not pleasant

We found 2 different places to hike and found a cool little cave thing and decided to climb up into it and D and Ashy climbed through the small opening on the other end.

For this we had to climb down and make sure we were out of the sun.

It was hard trying not to get your head in the sun like Hollie's......

We stopped while we were waitin' and tryin' to figure out where to go hikin'.

(This was before the rock climbing)

Oh High School

Dear High School....
Can I just say I am very glad you let me get out for the weekend. :) That was very, very kind
of you.
But, you are not very fun.
I mean, yes, you are very much better than the place they call Junior High and Elementary
School.
But no, you are no fun.
You are too stressful:
Mr. Beeson makes me do 40 minute Essays on an essay;
Mr. Miller makes me do 6 recording tests all due at the end of the month and he's making me
do a solo, a small ensemble, flute choir, and a big ensemble for Solo and Ensemble Night,
Ms. Johnson is just kinda boring, and her tests are really hard,
Mr. Dodge is kinda strict and he was really scared about letting me use his compas,
Mrs. Slabbert made us watch our ABC movie in Sign Language and I have to do an art project
that's due March 10th,
Brother Hemming is just great though :) You can keep the seminary teachers, they're very
nice and what we learn is interesting,
Miss Park/Mr. Atwoods class is very stressful and I take at least 3 pages of notes every day
in their class,
and Mr. Allan is making me memorize the parts of the cell and their functions and some scientific
equations.
I'm not really liking the bucketload of homework that has been dumped on me.
So...
could you tone down the homework a bit?
I'd like you even more if you did!
And I'd love if summer break could just change to SPRUMMER break (spring and summer)!
That would be even more kind,
and I would love you even more!!
Also...
could you add a sleeping class?
I think that sounds really good to me!
Or maybe you could call it a relaxation/sleep class!
Then we could learn how to relax and sleep better while we do it!
That would be my favorite class!
And homework would be very easy.
So as you can see,
if you just make a few changes,
I'd love to go to High School!
Oh-
and one more thing...
could school start at 9:00?
That sounds perfect to me!
Thank you so much for listening!
Love,
Me :)

Fun On My Blog

If you can't already tell.... I've been having quite a bit of fun on my blog.

It all started with yesterday, when Sister Clark came in and started talking about the best part of summer: GIRLS CAMP!

The next day, Marissa came up to me and told me she added onto her blog a countdown to girls camp.

I.was.jealous. :)

So.... I went on a search for one :) And I found a website filled with just amazing and fun cool looking things!!!

(Down at the bottom I have 6 pet fish) :) :) :) SOOO cool! :)

The website for all this SHTUFF is

www.pageplugins.com

PALEASE visit! It is SO cool! NO JOKE! :) You...will...love it! PINKY DINKY PROMISE!

I loved it!

I went through everything it had on there! There are SO many cool things to add... but if I overloaded my blog (I kinda already have...) then it would look crowded :) hehe

Love,

mwa ;)

Student Teaching :(

Man-o-man! I really feel very bad for the student teachers! I never used to... I just usually look at them and think: "How come the regular teacher can't teach, he is SO much better than this... teacher!"

And then, today, I got the chance to BE the student teacher! And now, I feel very, very, very bad for them!

In Mr. Beesons english honors class we each were put into groups of five and we had to plan and prepare an english lesson. It.was.HARD! Beleive me! I never thought teaching would be so hard. You have to do some english, but make it fun. But you have to learn from what you taught, and the activity has to be not boring, make sense, and keep them awake! It is all SO hard!

So we were each given a short story to read. In our case (my group) we had to read the book: The Night the Ghost Got In by James Thurber. I did all the research on the author and taught a little about what a zither is. Which is by the way... a musical instrument that you strum with your fingers :). Haha, little schooling for you there :)

Have you ever tried to write a 55 word short story? I TRIPLE DOG DARE YOU TO TRY IT! It is SO hard! We didn't think having all the students write one would take more than 10 minutes-boy were we wrong!!! It took at least 20 minutes! So... we ran out of time to do the "fun" at the end... which wasn't really fun at all. :)

So as you can see. Student teaching just isn't very fun at all :) It is really very hard and you struggle very muchly. And now, when I look at a student teacher... I feel for them. They've got the hard job!

Think about it--If I had a hard time doing this with 5 people... how on earth can just one person come up with all that stuff? It's just hard to beleive :)

Love,

mwa:)

Oh~~ and HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY! :) have a good day!!!!!
