... or at least I was born into a hiking family. Three years ago we started hiking ALL the time. My parents would sit on their computer and look for “fun” new hikes our family could enjoy. They even bought a hiking book..... need I say more? You may ask, what started this new hiking obsession? I have absolutely NO idea. I for one, don’t like to hike... at all. But, to make my parents happy, I pretend to enjoy hiking. Aren’t I a good child? :)
A few weeks ago we hiked Bell Canyon. At the end there is a BEAUTIFUL waterfall! If I could get to the waterfall without hiking I would be all for it. But, we had to hike about 2 1/2 miles to the waterfall. Every time we go on a hike I think: “how in the world did people find these places?!”. I still don’t know the answer.

Even though hiking isn’t my favorite thing to do, I’m still grateful for a family who enjoys spending time together. There are many memories I have from hiking with my family and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.
