Today marks the 2 year anniversary of the American Fork Marching Band bus crash. It's so hard to believe that just 2 years ago, I would be in Pocatello, performing my show, finding out we won all the captions and dominated at our competition, eating a sandwhich at Arby's, and getting back on a tour bus to come home to American Fork, and I'd also be in a bus crash that could have taken my life and many others. I'm so grateful to Heather. Without her, myself and others possibly wouldn't be here today. She is a TRUE hero and an amazing person. I'm very sad I didn't get to know her as well as I would know her now if she were still here. But, knowing that she would lay her life down for her "kids" (as she would call us) makes me feel closer to her every day. The band wore flip flops today in her honor, as it was her favorite thing to wear on her feet. I don't even think she wore closed toes shoes to Band Camp in Delta! :) :) :)
Thank you Heather! :) I miss and love you and I am eternally thankful for what you have done for me.

Cambri, that was a sweet tribute to your teacher. I am glad you took some time to remember her.
That was a sweet posting. I love you, beautiful, sweet, sensitive, caring, daughter of mine!
